Orders and Shipping
Payments and Security
In our online store you can pay securely with credit or debit card (via Redsys/CECA gateways), PayPal, as well as other popular local methods. All transactions are processed through a 256‑bit SSL‑encrypted payment gateway, ensuring your data’s protection. We also have anti‑fraud and authentication systems to verify payments. Your financial information is not shared with us, as the process is handled securely and encrypted. You can shop with total peace of mind: our customers’ security is a priority. (In some cases your bank may show a temporary pre‑authorisation after purchase; it usually releases automatically in a few days.)
Yes. All our orders to customers in Spain and the EU include the corresponding VAT, and we issue legal invoices. If you need an invoice in your company’s name or with VAT/CIF number, just indicate it when placing the order (filling in the fiscal data) or contact us after purchase. We will provide the official invoice with itemised VAT that meets Spain’s tax requirements.
If you have a promotional discount code or gift card, you can apply it on the cart/checkout page before completing payment. You will see a field to enter the code; after entering and confirming it, your order total will recalculate showing the applied discount. Keep in mind that:
- Only one code can be used per order, unless otherwise indicated by a special promotion.
- Some promotions are not combinable with each other or have restrictions (e.g., they may not apply to already discounted products).
- BÜRK gift cards have no expiration and can be used on multiple purchases until their balance is exhausted.
If you have any problem entering your code or doubt about its validity, contact us before finalising the purchase and we will help you apply it correctly.
We ship orders throughout Spain (the Peninsula, the Balearic Islands, the Canary Islands, Ceuta, and Melilla) and to most European countries. Standard shipping rates for mainland Spain are €4.99, with an estimated delivery time of 2–3 days. Shipping to the Balearic Islands costs €9.99 (3–5 days), and to the Canary Islands, Ceuta, and Melilla , €20.75 (5–7 days). Shipments to the rest of Europe (EU) have a flat rate of €15.99 and arrive in approximately 3–5 days. (For special destinations or large-volume orders, we can provide custom quotes. Contact us for more details.)
We periodically launch free‑shipping promotions in the online store (for example, on orders above a certain amount). These offers may vary by season. If your purchase qualifies for free shipping, it will be applied automatically at checkout. Keep in mind that if you return an order that benefited from free shipping, we will deduct the standard outbound shipping cost from the refund. (See the Returns section for more details.)

We prepare all orders within 1‑2 business days. Once shipped, transit time depends on the destination: 24‑48 hours for mainland Spain, 3‑5 days for the Balearic Islands, 5‑7 days for the Canary Islands/Ceuta/Melilla, and around 3‑5 days for EU shipments. During promotional campaigns or high‑demand periods, preparation may take slightly longer, but we always strive to meet these estimated times. We will send you an email with the tracking number as soon as your order leaves our warehouse so you can follow the delivery at all times.
Currently, our regular shipments cover Spain and EU countries. For orders to other international destinations (or special high‑volume orders), we invite you to contact us directly. We will do our best to serve customers in other regions, evaluating shipping options case by case. Note that transport costs, taxes and international duties will be borne by the customer in those cases.
Returns and Exchanges
At BÜRK, we want you to be just as satisfied with your purchase as you are with your next game. If something isn’t right, you have 15 calendar days from the date you receive your order to request an exchange or return. This period complies with European regulations on the right of withdrawal for distance purchases. The main conditions for accepting a return are:
- The product must be unused, in immaculate condition, clean, and with its original packaging and intact tags.
- Some items cannot be returned by nature: for example, custom‑made products, and unsealed hygiene items (e.g. grips or overgrips whose packaging has been opened) cannot be returned.
- BÜRK reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet these state and time conditions, or that show improper use.
If the requirements are met, we accept both refunds and exchanges (e.g., for another size or model), as you prefer. Remember that the customer assumes the cost and responsibility of return shipping, so we recommend using a certified courier service with tracking and insurance. If the return is due to our error or a defective product, of course we will cover the return shipping costs.
We have simplified the process so it is easy:
- Request a return/exchange: If you registered when you made your purchase, log in to your BÜRK customer account. Under ” My Account” → “Orders,” select the order and the item you wish to return, then click “Request Return. “ If you don’t have an account or prefer direct assistance, contact us by email at support@burksport.com or via WhatsApp/phone at +34 608 971 527, providing your order number and the reason for the return.
- Instructions and shipment: We will provide you with a return code (RMA) and the shipping address to which you must send the item. Pack the product securely, include a copy of the invoice or order confirmation inside the package, and write the return code both inside and outside the package. You must send the package prepaid (postage/shipping price paid by you) to the indicated address. Our headquarters is in Madrid, Spain. Note: keep the shipping receipt and make sure to use a tracked service to avoid setbacks.
Verification and Refund/Exchange: Once we receive the package, our team will check the condition of the returned product within a few days. If everything is in order, we will authorize the refund or arrange for the new product to be shipped in the case of an exchange. The refund (if applicable) will be issued within a maximum of 15 days from receipt and verification of the item, using the same payment method you used. We’ll notify you by email once we’ve processed the return, and you’ll see the credit reflected in your payment method shortly thereafter (the exact timing may depend on your bank or financial institution). For exchanges, we’ll provide you with a new tracking number for the replacement product.
Refunds are always issued to the original payment method (whether it’s a credit card, PayPal, etc.). Once the return has been approved after we inspect the item, we will issue the refund within a maximum of 15 days. Once we process the refund, it may take a few business days to appear in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider. We’ll send you a refund confirmation, and if you don’t see the credit in your account after a few days, we recommend contacting your bank (sometimes they hold transactions for a few days). In any case, we’re here to help you confirm the transaction.
Although our products undergo strict quality controls, if for any reason you receive an item that is defective, damaged, or different from what you ordered, we apologize. Please contact us immediately (preferably with photos of the problem) and we’ll resolve the issue. In these cases, we’ll arrange to pick up the defective product and send you a new one at no additional cost to you, or we’ll process the return and issue a full refund if you prefer. Please note that claims for shipping damage or shipping errors should be made as soon as possible (ideally within 7 days of receipt). Your satisfaction is our top priority, so we’ll do everything we can to resolve the issue quickly.
Product Warranty
- Pickleball paddles: 6‑month warranty for manufacturing or material defects. This means that if your paddle shows any abnormal structural problem during that period, we will resolve it (by repair or replacement with a new unit). This 6‑month duration is in line with premium industry standards.
- Textile and accessories: 90‑day warranty against manufacturing defects on our technical apparel, grips, covers or other accessories.
- Pickleball balls: No explicit defect warranty. As is common in the sector, balls have a very limited lifespan due to the intense use they undergo (constant impacts, spin, abrasive surfaces, temperature changes, etc.), making it impossible to offer a warranty. Pickleball balls usually last about 10 to 30 matches before wearing out or breaking, so regular replacement is normal.
Product and Use
Our paddles are conceived and developed in Spain, where we combine the insight of professional players with cutting‑edge materials engineering. Production is handled by international partners selected for their excellence. Every paddle undergoes rigorous quality checks—first at the factory and again at our Madrid facility—before it reaches your hands. This ensures a product of global premium calibre, true to BÜRK’s innovative DNA, regardless of the assembly country.

Note that the warranty covers only manufacturing defects or intrinsic product failures. It does not cover normal wear from continued use, nor accidental damage or improper use. For example, wear marks on the paddle surface due to play, gradual loss of texture or graphics over time, dents from dropping the paddle, or modifications made to the product are not covered. If you experience a problem, you must be the original purchaser and present your proof of purchase (invoice) to make the warranty effective, as it is personal and non‑transferable to subsequent owners.
Choosing a paddle depends on your playing level, style and personal preferences. We recommend considering:
- Paddle weight: Lighter paddles offer greater manoeuvrability and speed, while heavier ones provide more power. If you’re a beginner, a medium‑weight paddle can give you good balance
- Shape and core size: We offer models with different geometries. A wide‑body (oversize) paddle will have a larger sweet spot and be more forgiving—ideal for better ball control. A more elongated paddle can provide greater reach and power, favoured by offensive players.
- Materials and surface: Our paddles incorporate high‑quality carbon and fibreglass faces. For example, rough carbon faces help achieve more spin on the ball, while a polymer honeycomb core gives a balanced touch between control and power.
- Grip (handle): Pay attention to grip thickness and length. You should be able to hold the paddle comfortably; if you have large hands, you may prefer a thicker or longer grip. All our handles come with a comfortable, absorbent grip and are customisable (you can add overgrips to adjust thickness to your taste).
If you’re unsure between several models, don’t hesitate to consult us! We’ll be happy to guide you. You can also check the detailed descriptions of each paddle on our website, where we indicate the technical specs and the type of player each paddle is recommended for. We want you to find your ideal court partner. 😉
BÜRK pickleball paddles are built to withstand intensive use, but basic care will help prolong their life and performance:
- Regular cleaning: After playing, clean the paddle face with a soft, slightly damp cloth. If it has embedded dirt, use a little mild soap and warm water, then dry well. Avoid aggressive chemicals that could damage the finish; mild soap and water are enough. Keeping the hitting surface free of dust or sand preserves its texture and ball grip.
- Avoid extreme temperatures: Don’t leave your paddle exposed for hours in blazing sun, inside a hot car, or outdoors in freezing winter. Excessive heat can warp composite materials, and extreme cold can make them more fragile. Always store it after play in a cool, dry place.
- Use a cover or protector: We recommend storing the paddle in a padded cover when not in use. This protects it from accidental knocks during transport and from moisture. If you tend to rest the paddle on the ground between points, consider using an edge guard or be careful not to hit it against hard surfaces, as the edge is sensitive
- Check the grip regularly: The grip (handle tape) wears out with use and absorbs sweat. Replace it or add a new overgrip when it loses tackiness or comfort. A good grip lets you control the paddle better and prevents it from slipping, which also avoids unnecessary drops or knocks to the paddle.
With this care, your paddle will maintain its optimal performance longer. And remember: although paddles are durable, they’re not made to hit the ground or net. A strong impact against hard surfaces can damage it (and that’s not covered by the warranty as it’s considered misuse). Treat it well and it will reward you on court!
Paddle durability depends greatly on playing frequency, player style and care. Generally, a casual player who plays a couple of times a week can use the same paddle for 2‑3 years before noticing performance loss. In contrast, an intensive player (e.g., playing daily or competing regularly) may need to renew their paddle every 1 to 1.5 years to maintain peak performance, as continuous use causes the core and surface to lose liveliness. As a rule of thumb in the sector, pickleball paddles are estimated to last 1 to 5 years.
You’ll notice it’s time for a new paddle if: the surface has lost grip and you no longer impart as much spin, the core has softened and you feel less power or “pop” when hitting, or visible cracks/damage appear. Still, many players keep their paddles as backups even after getting a new one, especially if wear is gradual and there’s no break. At BÜRK we strive to use durable materials, but no sports gear lasts forever. If your paddle no longer performs as you wish, it might be time to check out our new releases 😉. We’ll be glad to help you choose your next playing partner!
As mentioned above, balls wear out quickly. Under normal playing conditions, a good‑quality pickleball can last about 10 to 30 matches before it starts to deteriorate. Factors like stroke force, court surface (hard, rough courts wear balls faster), temperature (cold can crack them sooner) or even playing singles vs doubles (fewer rallies in singles) will influence their lifespan. You should replace balls when you notice any of these signs:
- Visible cracks or fissures: Rotate the ball and inspect it; if you see cracks, change it immediately (for safety and performance).
- Loss of pressure/bounce: If the ball has lost the lively bounce it had when new and now stays “dead” or flattened on bounce, it’s likely worn even if you don’t see cracks.
- Deformations: Some balls may deform slightly with intensive use, becoming somewhat oval. This affects flight and bounce, so it’s best to replace them.
Always keep spare balls on hand. Many players rotate several balls during play to wear them more evenly. In training or recreational matches, it’s normal to use the same ball until it breaks; in official competitions, balls are changed more often to ensure maximum consistency. In short, change balls as soon as you detect significant wear—playing with worn balls not only worsens the experience but can even increase injury risk by forcing stronger strokes.
